CONSTRUCTION OF EXTERNAL WATERING NETWORK D.E. IALYSOU MUNICIPALITY OF RHODES

DESCRIPTION:
The project aimed to strengthen the water supply of the Municipal Unit of Ialyssos, through the construction of a new water supply network and the corresponding modification of the existing one, which will now drain the water supply tanks of the said Municipal Unit with drinking water from the Gadoura Dam.

Specifically, the following tasks were foreseen:

– Construction of a new gravity network from steel pipe, cross-section DN500
– Construction of a new gravity network and a new depression pipeline from PE100, DN450 cross-section
– Construction of new PE100 gravity networks, DN200 and DN100 cross-sections
– Upgrading an existing pumping station through the installation of new and stronger pumps and generator sets
– Modifications and direction changes of the existing water supply network
– Installation of telemetry systems in the connected tanks and pumping stations
